Ray bans were the sunglasses to have two to three decades ago. The Aviator and the Wayfarer sunglass were very popular. They never really went completely out of style but their designs lost market share to the oversized oval frame. The style took off as a fashion statement and even today virtually all celebrities have a pair of oval sunglasses. This year neon colors are hot and the Wayfarer is a fashion hit with the trend towards wholesale sunglasses.

Everyone who has bought a pair of sunglasses has probably experienced the familiar pain of putting a pair back on only to find that at some point they had been scratched or damaged within an inch of their life. Most people will live in a state of denial for several moments before ripping the glasses from their face and putting them back into the offending purse or other device of torture they were in. Scratched lenses, loose hinges and stretched out sides can render a pair of sunglasses completely useless, but it doesn't have to be like that.
